Abshier New MCO Hub Manager, Tan Now Director, HR

Rick Abshier, a pilot for Atlantic Sun Airways, has been promoted to Orlando Hub Manager. The former MCO Hub Manager, Phillip Tan, had to step down from the high-paced position due to real-world time constraints. Tan has been moved into a position which has been vacant in the airline for over a year, Director of Human Resources.

Rick Abshier was chosen for the position as Orlando Hub Manager because of his dedication to the airline, as well as his level of maturity and knowledge. Abshier will be in charge of the daily operations of the hub and will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality and professionalism that has come to be expected of ASA. From the entire Atlantic Sun staff, we are glad to have Rick aboard and we welcome him to the team!

Phillip Tan has been completing many miscellaneous tasks for the airline for many months now, and his new title fits what he does very well. Tan welcomes new pilots to the airline and helps them get acquainted with its inner workings through the forum and email, he is in charge of promotion certificates, the AI fleet, and other projects.

All questions regarding the hiring of Rick Abshier can be directed to Andreas J., Director of Hub Operations, or Phillip Tan, Director of Human Resources.
