Flight Restrictions due to Hurricane Ivan *lifted*

Hurricane Ivan is forcast to hit the Southern US Gulf Coast in the vicinity of Mobile, Alabama within the next 12 hours. Winds are forcast to be 135 MPH. The forcast winds for Mobile are expected to be 45 knots gusting to 60 knots after 2300Z (1900 East Coast Time) and increasing throughout the night and are not expected to decrease until Thursday afternoon.

As a result, the following airports will be closed to all incoming and outgoing Atlantic Sun flights beginning at 2300Z Wednesday:

Pensacola, FL (KPNS)
Mobile, AL (KMOB)
New Orleans, LA (KMSY)
Baton Rouge, LA (KBTR)

An update will be provided when flight restrictions are lifted.
